Description:
The Orange County Amateur Radio Emergency Training Net meets every Saturday morning at 9:30AM, using Primary frequency Channel 11 at 442.150 MHz, 5 MHz positive offset, PL 131.8 Hz Orange County Radio Amateur’s W4UNC repeater. In the event there are issues on primary, the net will use Alternate frequency Channel 16 at 145.450 MHz, 600 KHz negative offset, PL 82.5 Hz Durham FM Association’s WR4AGC repeater.

Back up net control should monitor both repeaters if possible.   All licensed amateur radio operators are invited to check in with W4EZ net control. The net provides training in procedures that would apply in an actual emergency.

An OCRA Saturday Morning Zoom Session opens at 8:30AM as usual for you to join . This is an ongoing  club/community gathering about the hobby and a Ham Emergency Liaison & Planning of what to do before, during and after hazardous weather having a history of impacting our area.
