The DFMA picnic will be on April 25th at the Bennett Place Historic Site starting around 11:30AM. We hope you can come out, and bring any covered dish you want. We hope to have a “Get on the Air” station to help encourage people to come over and be introduced to the club and the hobby. At the same time, Bennett Place will be celebrating the 161st Anniversary of the Civil War Surrender. The main theme is communication, and the club (with a huge help from Wilson W4BOH), will have a morse code station set up for the public, as telegraphy played a large role in communication during the war.
