Joseph, KF4QYY, passed away on 11/29/2019 at the age of 62. He grew up in Durham, earned a law degree and worked as a tax consultant. Joseph first became a ham in 1997 and held a General class license. He was a DFMA member from 1997 to 2008 and served as DurHamFest chair for several years. He frequented the DFMA repeaters and was a regular on the DFMA Thursday Night Net. He will be fondly remembered for his upbeat presence on the air.
