At the DFMA meeting on Tuesday we had a live presentation via Skype on Ed Fong's DBL dual  band J-Pole antennas that he has designed and manufactures. There was considerable interest in purchasing these antennas and he has graciously provided our club with discounted price list and if we have an order of $250 or more, we get an additional 10% off which should cover shipping charges.

For more information on Ed’s antennas see his web site: http://edsantennas.weebly.com/about.html

In addition to the dual band antennas he also has an interesting triband base J-Pole antenna design which should especially be of interest to those who might need 220 band capability (we have a 224.6 local repeater) for only $50 including the PVC pipe. Note that the other base station antennas do not include the PVC pipe but this can be obtained locally from Lowe’s.

I have agreed to collect orders for a group purchase. To simplify things payment will not be necessary until we receive the finished antennas and/or parts which will then be available for pickup and payment at the next DFMA meeting.

If you wish to order any of the following items I’ll need to know the model or accessory and quantity desired together with your call, name and email address. To give everyone enough time to get the group order together please respond by Sunday November 22.

Thanks again to DFMA for agreeing to doing this and to Mark KR3AM for
